MOTION CONTROL
|
Stepper motor control.
The MC3B three-axis motor stepper motor controller/driver allows full independent or synchronous
control over three bipolar or unipolar stepper motors. Holding and running currents of up to 2A/phase are selectable via the convenient RS-232 serial interface.
Six independently assignable home/limit switch inputs are provided.
High-quality detachable terminal blocks are provided for quick connect/disconnect.
A concise, well-documented serial command set, along with a simple PC-based motor control application (source code provided) makes setup a breeze.

Solenoid control.
The SC5 solenoid controller can drive five independent solenoids at 4A each.
User selectable peak-and-hold timing and PWM frequency allows for reduced heating of solenoids over a wide range of operating voltages.
Control of solenoids can be performed by using concise, well-documented ASCII commands via the
RS-232 interface. Alternatively, the solenoids can be controlled directly via 3.3V (5V tolerant) logic-level
inputs.

MACHINE VISION
|
MV lib is RW Automation's machine vision software library, which is available for integration into PC-based vision systems.
Just some of its numerous features include: image load/save in several formats, image generation and graphics,
image algebra, image transforms, filters, morphology, normalized correlation search,
fiducial locator, segmentation, and projections.
MV Tool v1.0.1 is available free for
download. This is a full-featured application, based on MV lib, that allows
users to try out all of the features of MV lib.

EMBEDDED SYSTEMS
|
The RW Automation Coldfire 3.3V BDM parallel port interface allows full
control over Freescale ColdFire 52xx, 53xx, and 54xx processors by interfacing with
ColdFire's on-chip emulation (background debug mode) functionality.
Its compatibility with other brands of parallel port BDM interfaces allows it to be used on
a wide range of development tools.
